Peoria, Ill. — By DeWayne BartelsChicago resident, and Metamora native, Linden Christ was back in the area on Valentine’s Day.
Christ was the featured vocalist for the concert titled “The Romantic Gershwins.”
George Stelluto, music director and conductor for the orchestra, said he was very pleased to have Christ there.
“Her vocals add a charm and a sparkle that makes the evening,” he said. “Her talent and personality warms the evening.” -

Posted on February 2nd, 2012I’m thrilled to sing on the Peoria Civic Center stage with the Peoria Symphony Orchestra. I’ll be singing Gershwin’s hit songs: Summertime, I’ve Got Rhythm, Someone to Watch Over Me, and The Man I Love.
